[Manabu's not very familiar with the intimacy that grooming brings along anymore; he's always wriggled free of his mother's grasp as a kid when the hairbrush came out, only tied down for special occasions. if put on the spot, he couldn't begin to recall the last time someone else had brushed or washed his hair for him.
