[Grey wants to hold Manabu, to stroke his head until those worried lines in his forehead fade away. But following those instincts too far is probably what got them into this tangle in the first place.
Grey wishes he could say that if he knew how much pain it would cause Manabu he never would have kissed him, but Grey knows himself too well. He's self-centered, with an impulsive streak, and in that moment he could have no more stopped himself from kissing Manabu than he could have stopped his own heart from beating.
All he can do now is make frantic efforts to make up for it. With a sigh, Grey takes a step back.]
