[Really, Manabu's doing very well considering he's barely a week out of the lab...
And if Manabu stayed like this forever- too sick to go very far on his own, in need of constant protection- Grey realizes he wouldn't entirely mind. Except for the fact that Manabu would be miserable about it. But other than that he'd be content to keep carrying Manabu both literally and metaphorically.
After all, the sooner Manabu gets better the sooner they'll have to go their separate ways.]
