Not that Grey's familiar with that story, though he'd certainly have Opinions if he ever finds out.
But none of that particularly matters during the intervening time between their decision and go time. That time is spent resting up, preparing supplies, and doing some more clairvoyant scouting until it finally grows dark outside.
Grey dresses in plain, dark clothes, not bothering to bring much with him besides a pair of gloves. He doesn't need a weapon when he already is one.
Then it's out onto the back stairs in the alley behind the building. The landing's a little crowded so Grey steps onto the first step down and then turns back to face Manabu. He holds out his hands in an invitation for Manabu to grab on.]
