The similarities are thin, however. Manabu's brother had been a good man, and they'd loved each other. The holes in Grey's heart are from rejection, not the sincere grief that Manabu struggles with.
And it's thanks to Manabu that Grey's emotional wounds have managed to lessen just a bit.]
